BUILT FOR THE COLD. BUILT TO WORK.

Pro-grade heated apparel — engineered to keep workers, riders, and outdoor users warm longer, without the bulk.

Where DEWBU Started

DEWBU was inspired by Dubu — the Swahili word for bear, a symbol of strength, endurance, and survival in extreme cold.

We build heated apparel for a simple reason: to make cold weather hurt less for the people who have to work through it. Not by adding more bulk, but by adding smarter heat.

We start with workwear because work is the real test. If a heated jacket can hold up through a long workday, a freezing early morning, or a cold night shift, it can hold up through almost any winter. The job site is the most honest testing ground there is. It asks one question: can this jacket help me get through today?

That is where every DEWBU product begins. Once a jacket works on the job, it works anywhere else cold finds you — sitting in a hunting blind, riding to work before sunrise, standing on the sidelines, or getting through a full day in a cold office.

That is what DEWBU is built for: heat that performs, protection that lasts, and a jacket you can count on.

Built for the people who earn their hours in the cold.

  • FOR WORK

Long shifts demand a jacket that lasts as long as you do. DEWBU's 12V system delivers up to 10 hours of heat on low — a full shift, not just the drive in. Articulated cut keeps full arm mobility. You stop thinking about the cold and focus on the job.

  • FOR THE OUTDOORS

Silent is as important as warm. DEWBU runs with no noise — no rustling, no mechanical hum. Hold position in a blind for hours without the cold creeping in or the jacket giving you away. When the shot matters, gear that stays quiet matters.

  • FOR EVERYDAY COLD

When cold isn't the point — the game is, the dog walk is, the morning commute is — DEWBU lets you stop managing warmth and focus on what you came for. Three heat levels, one-touch control. Set it and forget it.

  • FOR A GIFT

Heated gear is the kind of gift people actually remember. Not another layer — a solution. One jacket changes how someone experiences cold for years. No guessing size with stretchy softshell; no wondering if they'll use it.

Eight engineering disciplines. One jacket.

A heated jacket is a textile, electrical, electrochemical, and human-factors product in one. Most brands treat it like apparel. We treat it like electronics — because that is what the heating system actually is.

The choice to build on 12V is deliberate. Low-voltage systems can warm a single zone. 12V gives us the power headroom to heat the core, back, and arms simultaneously — and sustain that output in wind chill, subzero temperatures, and the conditions where heat loss is fastest. It also means faster warmup: users feel warmth within seconds of switching on, not minutes.

DEWBU's engineering team covers eight disciplines: textile, electrical, thermal, ergonomics, embedded systems, UI/UX, software, and quality assurance. The thermal engineer maps heat-zone placement to where the human body loses warmth fastest. The ergonomics engineer makes sure that placement does not restrict movement. The embedded engineer writes the firmware that controls it all. Every discipline has a direct impact on how the jacket performs when you need it most.

We validate every system in the field before it ships — on construction sites, loading docks, and early-morning hunts in sub-zero wind. The goal is simple: if a jacket holds up in the places where heat loss is fastest and gear takes the most abuse, it will hold up wherever you take it.

We invest heavily in R&D and intellectual property. Our heat control and safety technology is built in-house, and we have filed a US utility patent for our proprietary Intelligent Control Circuit and Heating Garment (App. 19/369,407) to protect the engineering work behind it.

We Will Keep Asking That Question. We Will Not Stop There.

For the workers, riders, and outdoor users who earn their hours in the cold — every DEWBU product is built with one question in mind: does this actually help someone stay warm and get the job done? As long as there's a better way to keep people warm, we'll keep asking that question—and we'll never stop improving.
