DEWBU SMART VEST
DEWBU will continue to improve the app and refine its AI heating algorithm. As it learns more from usage patterns, its adjustments can become better aligned with your preferences. If there is a feature you would like us to add or improve, we welcome suggestions based on your experience. Email us at support@dewbu.com.
AI Comfort Mode is designed for a vest worn on your body. Its inside-garment temperature sensor measures the microclimate inside the vest. If the vest is open or laid out during a test, that sensor is exposed to cooler air. The Microclimate reading in the app may then stay below the target temperature even while the heating elements continue working at a high output.
For a meaningful test, put on the vest and wear it normally before judging whether AI Comfort Mode reaches your preferred comfort level.
Yes. The vest's outside temperature sensor helps AI Comfort Mode assess the surrounding conditions. When the vest is an outer layer, that sensor is more exposed to ambient air, so its reading can better reflect the outside environment. Under another layer, the thickness and material of the clothing over the vest can change what the sensor reads and how the heating feels.
When you first switch to AI Comfort Mode, the How do you wear your vest? prompt lets you choose Outer layer or Under a layer. Select the option that matches your outfit, then tap Save for next AI cycle. To change it later, tap AI Fine-tune on the Heating screen. In More settings, change the Wear position setting to Outer layer or Under a layer. Outer layer is more exposed to wind and ambient air; Under a layer is more insulated and heat-retentive.
On the Heating screen, tap AI Fine-tune. In More settings, adjust Comfort range at the top of the screen to change the target temperature interval AI can use. If you feel too cold, raise the lower end first; AI uses it as a key reference when deciding whether to increase the target. You can also raise the upper end if you want AI to be able to select a warmer target. The AI currently targeting line shows the current target within your selected range.
You can also tap HOW YOU FEEL NOW? and select Too Cold. If you feel overheated, select Too Warm. This gives the app direct feedback about your current comfort.
AI Comfort Mode does not necessarily change the target temperature immediately. The algorithm reassesses conditions approximately every few minutes, so an unchanged target for a short time can be normal.
To see whether AI made an adjustment, open AI Fine-tune and review CHANGE LOG in More settings. Entries marked AI show target temperature changes and the app's explanation; entries marked M record changes made in the app.
Cold tolerance tells AI how sensitive you are to cold. The scale runs from Cold sensitive to Cold resistant. If you tend to feel cold easily, move the setting toward Cold sensitive, which is the lower-tolerance side of the scale. This is a preference signal for the algorithm; use Comfort range when you want to change the target temperature interval directly.
